ABOUT US

Hanåsa Sågverk is a fourth generation, family-owned business dating from early 1900s. Our permanent mill location in Hanåsa, the province of Småland, was established in 1951. At Hanåsa Sågverk, we operate across the entire value chain, from forest to end customer, in order to provide high-quality sawn redwood lumber.

Our customers in Sweden and around the globe are benefitting from our expertise and commitment. We have successfully traded with clients from, among others, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Greece, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, Indonesia and Australia.

Hanåsa Sågverk offers a variety of grades and dimensions. As a smaller mill cutting 15000-20000 cbm annually, we are always happy to discuss custom orders.

And rest assured that we make sure to consider our environmental impact while delivering a great product.

OUR PRODUCTS

Hanåsa Sågverk specializes in high-quality redwood harvested within the 100 km radius from our mill. We stock a variety of products suited for interiors, moldings, furniture etc. Thanks to our expertise in clear lumber and manual grading, we can customize grades, dimensions, volumes as well as moisture levels and are able to deliver goods across a variety of markets.

We are fully KD 56/30 and ISPM 15 compliant.

SUSTAINABILITY, CERTIFICATION & COMPLIANCE

Hanåsa Sågverk refers to the new timber trade contract Softwood Contract 2015 for all export trade. For domestic sales, we refer to the timber trade contract SVEA 2024, revised by the Swedish Forest Industries Federation, Swedish Wood.

We are proud to work with renewable and recyclable material that is wood. We also make it our business to minimize negative environmental impact of ours operations through sustainable logistics, self-sufficient kiln drying and heating as well as sorting and recycling of waste.

Hanåsa Sågverk holds dual FSC and PEFC certification through membership in the PanCert AB producer group certificate Chain of Custody for PEFC-CoC and FSC-CoC. Our certificates and certificate codes can be viewed by clicking the buttons below.
